핸드폰 초기화 방법 Two easy and accurate ways to factory reset the Galaxy – Dolphin’s it journey

핸드폰 초기화 방법If you use your smartphone for a long period of time, various problems may occur, such as strange errors or slowdowns. That’s why many people want to return their smartphone to its original state when they first bought it.

For these people, you can proceed with factory reset, which is provided by default in Galaxy. However, factory reset resets everything including data, settings, and network, so if you have important data, we recommend that you back it up before proceeding.

There are two main ways to perform a factory reset. The results are essentially the same, so I think you can proceed with the method that suits you better.

1. First, go to the Galaxy’s default [Settings] app.

2. Scroll down the screen a little and touch the [General] menu.

3. Next, find the [Reset] menu and press it.

4. Among the various reset lists, select the [Reset entire device] list.

5. Scroll down to the bottom and touch the [Reset] button.

6. After unlocking, press the [Delete All] button.

Now, enter the password for your logged in Samsung account and the reset will proceed normally.

If you do not know your Samsung account password, please refer to the article below.

If the first method does not work due to reasons such as not having a Samsung account, you can proceed using physical keys.

1. First, connect your PC and smartphone using a cable.
2. If the access permission window appears at the bottom, please touch the [Allow] text.

3. Press and hold the [Volume Down] button and the [Power] button located on the side of the Galaxy for about 5 seconds.

4. Then, the phone will turn off. In this state, press and hold the [Volume Up] button and the [Power] button for about 7 seconds.

4.1 For models with a [Bixby] button, press and hold the power button for more than 7 seconds while holding down the Bixby button and the volume up button.

4.2 For models with a physical [Home] button, press and hold the volume up button and the home button while pressing the power button for about 7 seconds.

5. Now the power is turned on and you enter recovery mode as shown below. Please refer to the operation keys below and select the [Wipe data/factory reset] list.

6. Then select [Reset]. If you do not have this item, you can select the yes item instead.

7. Now, wait a moment and the message ‘complete’ will appear. If you see this message, it means that the factory reset has been completed.

8. Now, on the initial recovery screen, select the [Reboot system now] list to turn your phone back on.

If you perform a factory reset using a physical key, Google Lock may occur. Therefore, if possible, we recommend that you log out (delete) your Google account before resetting.

Please refer to the article below on how to delete your account from your device.

If you are worried about being locked by Google, you can proceed with the first method of using safe settings.
