Today, we will compare Travellog card issuance and credit cards, check cards, and Travel Wallet. One of the must-have items when traveling abroad is the Travel Wallet card and Travelogue card. If you are planning to travel abroad, please refer to it carefully before issuing the certificate.
Both the Travellog Card and Travel Wallet are cards that allow you to make payments overseas without any fees. You can get the card that suits you best and use both.
What is Travellog Card?
Unlike Travel Wallet, which can link any account, Travellog can only link accounts with Hana Bank, Hana Securities, and Hana Savings Bank. Therefore, Travellog check cards must be issued through the Hana Bank website and Hana Money app, and the affiliated store is Mastercard.
Travellog Check Card
The Travellog service operated by Hana Bank is extremely popular, exceeding 900,000 users within 10 months of its launch. There are two types of cards provided by the Travellog service: ‘Travellog Check Card’ and ‘Travellog Credit Card’.

Travelogue check card benefits
Travellog is a service operated by Hana Bank, so you must have a Hana Bank account to issue a Travellog card. If you do not yet have a Hana Bank account, you can open an account through the Hana Bank app or visit a bank branch and then receive a Travelogue card.
Issuance of a Travelogue check card requires an issuance fee of approximately 2,000 won, and the benefits are as follows.

Travelogue Card (check vs credit)
The Travellog Credit Card can be viewed as Travellog “Travellog Check Card” + “Credit Card Function”, and is not particularly recommended. Since you have to pay an annual fee, I personally think that unless you travel abroad a lot for business purposes, it is better to just use your existing credit card as a travelogue check card.
Travellog vs Travel Wallet
In addition to the Travellog card series provided by Hana Bank, which is a must-have card for overseas travel, there is also a Travel Wallet card operated by a startup called Travel Pay.
Since it is not provided by a banking company, there are no restrictions from banks or securities companies, and there are more currencies supported than Travellog.
