You can also obtain a passport information certificate from a nearby unmanned civil service issuance machine. You can apply through the [Passport] related work of the issuance machine, enter your resident registration number, and perform thumbprint recognition for identity verification.
The passport information certificate issuance fee is free. Usually, unmanned issuance machines are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, but there may be holidays depending on the installation location. Issuance fee: KRW 1,000 (equivalent to USD 1)
The family relationship certificate can be omitted if it can be verified through the administrative information sharing network.
Proxy issuance is possible. If a seal certificate is used as a proxy issuance certificate, the power of attorney must be stamped with a seal.
Issuance of passport information certificate for minors
Caution is required when issuing a passport information certificate for minors. If a minor is under 14 years of age, he/she must visit the city/county/district office in person to issue the document. If a minor is 14 years of age or older, he/she can apply online on the Government 24 website.

How to use the passport information certificate
