To apply for and issue a child meal card
Child meal application form and documents confirming the reason for support
must be submitted.
Documents to prove that you are a child of a family eligible for support are as follows.
Employment contract, income confirmation document, health insurance payment confirmation, and doctor’s diagnosis if parents are ill.
If the application form and necessary documents are received and the reason for application is met, the meal cost will be paid to the child meal card. Then, you can use the children’s meal card at affiliated stores.
Children’s meal cards provide meal support in various ways depending on local circumstances during breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
■ Seoul Children’s Dream Card
Available for mealtimes from 6am to 10pm.
The support unit price is 7~9,000 won per meal.
■ Gyeonggi-do G-Dream Card
You can use 7,000 won per restaurant.
The support amount is provided on a monthly basis, and balances are not carried over to the next month.
■ Child meal card balance inquiry
You can check the balance of the children’s meal card at the community center, the card’s homepage, or mobile app.
Also, the balance is shown on the receipt you received when using the card, so please take a good look at the support amount and use all that you received that month in that month.
Child Meal Cards can only be used at participating stores in each region. That’s why, if you have been issued a card, you need to check available merchants in advance so that you can pay for the meal after eating.
