Internet reservation
To reserve SRT train tickets online, use the Let’s Korail website or the Korail Talk app. Here’s how to reserve SRT train tickets online:

SRT ticket reservation tips
The best times to book SRT train tickets are:
Reservation period available
SRT train tickets can be reserved up to 1 month prior to the departure date.
On special days or holidays, reservations can only be made online through non-face-to-face ticket reservations. In this case, reservations can be made not 1 month before the departure date, but 1 month in advance based on the first day of the holiday period.
Day of the week
SRT train tickets are more expensive and more likely to sell out on weekends and public holidays than on weekdays. Therefore, it is recommended to travel on a weekday if possible.
Even during the week, Mondays and Fridays are more expensive and more likely to sell out than other days of the week. Therefore, if possible, it is recommended to choose a day between Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

In general, cheaper fares are available for the first and last trains in the morning and afternoon, and during evening hours.

SRT reservation cancellation fee
SRT cancellation fees vary depending on regular tickets and group tickets. For regular tickets, it is free up to 1-2 days before departure. The minimum penalty is 10% on the day of departure ~ 1 hour before departure, 1 hour before ~ before departure time.

Cheer Up Youth: This product offers a 30% discount when young people between the ages of 19 and 25 use SRT. Reservations can be made up to 1 month before departure, and you must present your ID.
Convenient SRT: This product can be reserved from 1 month to 2 days before the departure date, and you can receive a 10-20% discount on the SRT fare. It does not apply in conjunction with other discounts other than member coupons and delayed discount certificates.
Multi-Child Happiness: This product offers a 30% discount when families with multiple children use SRT. Reservations can be made up to 1 month before departure, and you must present a multi-child family ID card.
Train Nuri: This product provides a 50% discount when using SRT for socially disadvantaged people such as recipients of basic livelihood security, the lower-income class, and single-parent families. Reservations can be made up to 1 month before departure, and you must present the relevant certificate.

Refund Policy
On weekdays, you can cancel for free up to 3 hours before departure.
On weekends or public holidays, a fee of 400 won is charged from 1 month before departure to 1 day before departure.
Refunds are possible up to 20 minutes after train departure, minus a 15% fee.
A refund of 40% is possible between 20 and 60 minutes before departure, and 70% is deducted from more than 60 minutes until arrival at the reserved destination.
