Offline application: You can apply by visiting any KEPCO office nationwide with your ID. When applying in person, you will need an ID card such as a resident registration card or driver’s license.
Energy Cashback is applied from the electricity usage of the month in which the application date falls. For example, for customers whose meter reading date is the 15th, the electricity bill calculation period for October is from September 15th to October 14th. If you apply during this period, the cashback will be applied from the electricity usage for October.
Cashback is calculated based on the reduced electricity usage. It is based on the reduced amount (kWh) calculated by subtracting the usage during the reduction activity period from the average usage for the same period of the previous two years. If the savings rate is 3% or higher, a cashback of 30 won to 100 won per kWh will be paid depending on the savings rate section. However, the savings rate is limited to 30%.
The cashback calculated each month will be automatically reflected when the next month’s electricity bill is billed. However, if your address changes due to moving, etc., the cashback calculated at the previous address will not be paid, and you will need to reapply at the new address.
