Account recovery delay
When recovering your Google account, you may see a message saying “Your account is protected by a security hold.” In this case, there is a difference between the time the account recovery request is made and the time it is processed, so this message appears to protect the account against abnormal recovery requests.
Depending on the processing time for account recovery, there may be a delay of a few minutes to a few days. If you have set up two-step authentication, delays may be longer due to increased security.
