After signing up for E-Mart Traders membership last year, I haven’t been able to go yet this year, but January has passed. I also have to use the 100 won coffee coupon I received through the early bird promotion^^
Unlike Costco, TRADERS, which was available to everyone without a membership, announced its switch to a paid membership system in October last year, and has been officially operating since January 1st of this year. For those of you who are curious about the Traders membership system, I’ve summarized it again^^

E-Mart Traders Membership System
TRADERS CLUB ?
This is a new membership service introduced by TRADERS. You can easily sign up through the E-Mart app and there is an annual fee. (Please note in advance that non-members can also use it. I will explain more below.)
In the case of businesses, online registration is limited, and you can visit the center within the TRADERS CLUB with your business registration card.

What are the benefits?
1. Earn TR CASH
TR CASH accumulates as you shop.
These are points exclusive to Traders members that are accumulated when making payments at TRADERS offline stores.
✔️Premium/Premium beads
2% of purchase amount + additional 2% for T Standard
✔️Standard / Standard beads
1% of purchase amount
✔️ The maximum amount that can be accumulated per year is
500,000~1 million won
✔️ Use it like cash with membership renewal
TR CASH and Shinsegae Point (S-POINT) can be confusing. Shinsegae Points can be used immediately, but TR CASH is a separate point that can only be accumulated and used at offline TRADERS stores. And TR CASH can be accumulated in the current year and used in the next year. If you don’t update it, you can’t use it;;;;;; You must continue to be a member to use it. ^^ Shinsegae points can be accumulated and used as is.
2. Traders Club Membership Price
It may vary depending on the store.
They say members-only discounts will be applied, and various Traders Club member-priced products will continue to be released.
After signing up, a dedicated discount coupon is provided in the E-Mart app (limited number), so you can use it conveniently when automatically applied. Non-members can also use the mart, but this section does not apply.
3. Family members
(Free for one adult family member living in the same residence)
When signing up for E-Mart Traders membership, for family members,
You can sign up by visiting an offline store with proof of the same residence (certificate, etc.), and the family card is provided through the E-Mart app, not a physical card.
✔️ When signing up for Traders membership, one family member can join for free and receive up to double the TR Cash accumulated annually.
🖍 Maximum annual savings for Standard,
Self 500,000 won + Family 500,000 won
🖍 For premium, maximum annual accumulation,
Self 1 million won + Family 1 million won

It’s also nice that all credit cards are accepted, rather than a limited number of cards like Costco.
