It is said that KakaoTalk does not provide confirmation of whether the other person has blocked you. So, if the 1 mark does not disappear for a long time when you send a KakaoTalk message, I can’t help but think that there is a high possibility that the other person has blocked me. There are three simple ways to check KakaoTalk blocking, which is the topic of today’s post. Let’s take a look at them one by one.
1. How to check KakaoTalk blocking: Check the remittance indicator
I think many of you know the first way to check for KakaoTalk blocking. This is a way to go into the other person’s profile and check whether there is a remittance indication or not. Previously, there was a remittance indicator, but if the remittance indicator disappeared, it is very likely that the other person blocked me. However, this method does not confirm blocking if the other person has “blocked only the message”. It is said that if you just block the message, the remittance indicator disappears and does not sleep. Anyway, this is also a method, right?
2. How to check KakaoTalk blocking: Check recommended friends after deleting friends
The second way to check for KakaoTalk blocking is to delete a friend and then check the recommended friend list to check whether the person is blocked. First, delete the contact information of the friend you want to check whether to block, then go to the KakaoTalk profile and click on the friend’s profile to “block.”
※ Just in case, please write down your friend’s cell phone number somewhere else before deleting it.
When a blocking message appears, click the “Confirm” button.
Now, your friend has been blocked, but you need to unblock him again. Click the gear icon at the top of KakaoTalk and enter the [Friend Management] menu.
Please go to the [Blocked Friend Management] menu.
Click the [Manage] button on the profile of the friend you blocked.
Select Unblock and click the [Confirm] button.
Do not click Add Friend here, but click [Cancel]. This method does not add the other person as a friend to my phone, but when I am added as a friend to the other person, the other person’s KakaoTalk is recommended to my recommended friends list. You can check whether the other person has blocked you by checking the list of recommended friends.
Go back to the back page and click “Refresh Friends List.”
Please go to “Recommended Friends” on the KakaoTalk main page and check whether you can check the profile of the friend you deleted. If the other person is among the recommended friends, you don’t block them. If you don’t see them, you can assume that they have blocked you. However, this is only possible if the other person has “Allow friend recommendations” turned on, but since most people have “Allow friend recommendations” turned on, it seems to be a very likely method.
3. How to check KakaoTalk blocking: Invite to a group chat room
Lastly, the most accurate method is to create a popular group chat room and invite them to check whether or not they are blocked. Please click the speech bubble icon at the top of KakaoTalk.
ㅇ
Please click the [General Chat] menu.
You can check whether they have blocked you by creating a group chat room by selecting the person you are curious about and one more person who has blocked you. When sending a message after creating a group chat, if the number of people in the group from 3 to 2 decreases, they will 100% block you… This is the best way to check, but it may cause inconveniences^^ ;;Today, I learned about how to check for KakaoTalk blocking, and I don’t know if today’s post was useful information for you. Well, it’s been a while so far. Thank you^^.
