Today, we will learn about when to use a pregnancy test and how to use it correctly. A pregnancy test is an essential part of preparing for pregnancy. Because pregnancy tests may produce different results depending on when they are used, it is necessary to use them at the correct time.
A pregnancy test, also known as a pregnancy test, is a tool that allows you to check whether you are pregnant at home. Households planning to become pregnant may purchase several pregnancy tests. There are two types of pregnancy tests: stick type and paper type, and they are the easiest and fastest way to check if you are pregnant.
When to use a pregnancy test
A pregnancy test determines pregnancy through the concentration of pregnancy hormone (HCG). To accurately confirm pregnancy, you must use the pregnancy test at the appropriate time.
Therefore, it is recommended to use a pregnancy test on or after the expected date of menstruation. It is also better to use it 2 weeks after intercourse. However, if you want to know the results faster, we recommend using an early pregnancy test.
A regular pregnancy test responds to a hormone concentration of 25mlU, but the early pregnancy test responds to 10mlU, so you can confirm pregnancy with a slight difference in concentration before your period is due.

Disadvantage: You can find out more accurately through a blood test.
Pregnancy test principle
When you become pregnant, your body starts producing the hormone HCG (chorionic gonadotropin) about 7 days after fertilization and can be found in your blood and urine. A pregnancy test detects the pregnancy hormone HCG to determine if you are pregnant.
This hormone reaches its maximum level 10 weeks after fertilization, but its concentration decreases around 15 weeks. By soaking urine in a pregnancy test, the HCG contained in the urine reacts with the test to determine whether you are pregnant.
How to use a pregnancy test
The method of using a pregnancy test may vary slightly depending on the product, so we recommend that you check the manual before proceeding.
Test with your first urine on an empty stomach after waking up in the morning (drinking water or beverages may lower hormone levels).
If the product is left at room temperature after opening before use, accuracy may decrease due to foreign substances or contamination.
If it is uncomfortable or difficult to soak directly in flowing urine, collect urine in a clean paper cup and sufficiently soak the absorbent stick for at least 5 seconds.
When soaking the absorbent stick with urine, be careful not to allow urine to enter the result display window.
After absorbing the urine, close the lid and place it on a flat surface to wait. You can see the reading results in about 5 minutes.
Check pregnancy test results
If you see two lines in thickness or clarity, it means you are pregnant. Occasionally, an ectopic pregnancy or non-pregnancy may occur in the early stages of pregnancy. Have a re-examination or go to the hospital if you don’t have your period.
If the line is visible only on the control line (C)
When a line appears only on the inspection line (T)
When it does not appear on both the test line (T) and control line (C)
If the error occurs as above, the product may be defective and we recommend testing again with a different product.
