요양보호사 자격증 재발급Matters related to the issuance and re-issuance of nursing care worker certificates are stipulated in the Enforcement Rules of the Elderly Welfare Act. Depending on the applicable regulations, the application methods and required documents for new or reissued certificates are different.
First, there are matters regarding the issuance of new nursing care worker certification.
Anyone wishing to receive a nursing care worker certificate must fill out an application for nursing care worker certificate issuance, attach the required documents below, and submit it to the Korea National Examination Institute for Health and Medical Personnel (National Examination Institute). Applications for issuance can also be submitted electronically (online).
1. Nursing care worker training completion certificate
2. Career certificate (if training hours are reduced due to experience or qualification holder)
3. Copy of qualification or license (in case of qualification or social welfare-related license holder)
4. A medical certificate from a doctor proving that you are not mentally ill, etc.
5. 1 photo (taken within 6 months, 3*4)
The cost of issuing a new nursing care worker certificate is 10,000 won.
After issuing a nursing care worker certificate, the National Provincial Council notifies the city/provincial governor in charge of the nursing care training institution where the qualified person completed the certificate.
In addition, if the nursing care worker certificate is lost or damaged and the certificate is reissued, an application for reissue must be made to the city/provincial governor in charge of the nursing care training institution.
If a person who has been issued a nursing care worker certificate has lost or damaged the certificate or wishes to have it reissued for reasons such as changes to the information on the certificate, fill out an application for reissuing a nursing care worker certificate (including an electronic document application form), attach the following documents, and submit the certificate. You must apply to the city/provincial governor in charge of the nursing care training institution where you completed your training.
1. 1 photo (taken within 6 months, 3*4)
2. Documents proving the need to change the information (in case of change to the information)
3. Original certificate (if damaged or information needs to be changed)
The fee for reissuing a nursing care worker’s certificate is 2,000 won.
Applications for reissuance of a nursing care worker’s license can be submitted directly to the city hall or provincial office, but you can also apply online.
Since the nursing care worker is a national qualification based on the law, applications are also accepted on the Government 24 Civil Service website as shown below.
Online application requires login through identity verification. If you have difficulty completing identity verification procedures, you must visit a government office in person to apply for a reissue.
When applying for a new issuance of a nursing care worker’s license, the processing time takes about 30 days, and when applying for a reissue, it takes about 7 days.
