삼성페이 모바일 신분증Currently, Samsung Pay allows you to register your driver’s license and student ID as your mobile ID. In the future, we plan to support registration up to the resident registration card, and personally, I think it will be done in partnership with the PASS app in the same way as before. This is because Samsung Pay driver’s license registration is also in progress through the PASS partnership, and PASS already supports resident registration card registration. Therefore, we recommend that you register your mobile ID (driver’s license/resident registration card) in advance in the PASS app, and we recommend that you register for Samsung Pay by referring to the text.
1. Run the Samsung Pay app on your smartphone.
2. Press Menu.
3. Click Mobile ID.
4. Click the + button on the top right.
5. Select Add Driver’s License Verification Service.
6. Click Next.
7. Check I agree to the terms and conditions and click Continue.
8. Click the Go to PASS button.
9. Install the PASS app and proceed with the driver’s license photographing and registration process.
To register your resident registration card/driver’s license in the PASS app, please read and proceed with How to Register and Use Your PASS Mobile ID (Legal Effect, Where to Use). This is a necessary procedure for Samsung Pay mobile ID registration.

Samsung Pay mobile ID (driver’s license) can easily prove your driver’s qualifications and adult status with the same effect as a conventional driver’s license. Currently, it can be used at convenience stores, airports (domestic flights), and movie theaters.
If you need a mobile ID that you want to use at a bar or government office, you can register your resident registration card in PASS. In the future, Samsung Pay will also partner with PASS to add resident registration card registration, so for now, we recommend registering for the PASS app and using it in advance.
