What is Dongbaek Pass?
Dongbaek Pass is the first public transportation integrated discount system implemented by Busan City in the country. You can only receive benefits if you apply for the Dongbaek Pass through the Dongbaekjeon application and use public transportation with the Dongbaekjeon postpaid transportation card.
Dongbaekjeon is the local currency of Busan and is an electronic currency that can be used at affiliated stores certified by Busan City. The Dongbaekjeon application can be downloaded for Android and iPhone.

The integrated public transportation discount system is a system that refunds ‘excess usage’ when using public transportation such as buses, city railroads, village buses, and light rail for more than 45,000 won.

In addition to the transportation card discount, 5% cashback is accumulated when paying with Dongbaekjeon local currency, and on-site discounts are applied at Dongbaekjeon win-win affiliated stores. Dongbaek Pass application period
There is no separate application period for the Dongbaek Pass and you can apply at any time. Dongbaek Pass benefits will take effect from August 1, 2023. However, depending on your budget, the application period may end. It is expected that a post will be posted in advance on the Dongbaekjeon notice before the card issuance period ends.

To receive a Dongbaekjeon postpaid transportation check card, you must install the app. If you are not a Busan Bank customer, you must register and log in. If you are unable to install the app, you can also apply on the website.

How to use the Dongbaek Pass
To use the Dongbaek Pass, you must first apply for the service through the Dongbaekjeon application. Next, you must obtain a Dongbaekjeon postpaid transportation card.
Currently, only cards issued by BNK Busan Bank are available, but from October, cards issued by Hana Card and Nonghyup Bank will also be available. You can apply for card issuance at an offline branch or online website.

How to apply for Dongbaek Pass affiliated stores
