◆ What is city gas savings cashback?
City Gas Savings Cashback is a system operated by Korea Gas Corporation to reduce city gas consumption in the winter for citizens across the country. It is a system that returns cash based on the amount saved if you save more than 7% compared to the previous year’s consumption.
◆ Participants
Any user of the ‘home heating/central heating’ city gas rate plan can participate.
However, households without consumption data from the previous year, such as those using a cooking/cooking-only rate plan other than for heating purposes and those moving out, are excluded from participation.
◆ Application period
December 2022 ~ January 2023 (2 months)
◆ Savings period
December 2022 – March 2023 (for bills issued between January and April 2023)
◆ Cashback payment criteria
When savings exceed 7% compared to the same period last year, differential payments are made according to the savings rate. The higher the savings rate, the higher the cashback payment price.
◆ Cashback payment method
If savings are successful, cash will be paid to the applicant’s account number (scheduled for the end of June)
