seat upgrade
You can upgrade the seat on your ticket. You can apply for a pre-upgrade on the website. However, in the case of special price seats or discount coupons, seat upgrades may be limited. Additionally, only one level can be upgraded.

This is a method that allows you to purchase airline tickets by using some of your mileage when purchasing airline tickets through the website. The method of use is the same as purchasing a regular airline ticket, just select Card & Miles as the payment method.
Mileage can be used from a minimum of 500 miles up to 20% of the fare (excluding taxes and fuel surcharges)
Mileage usage value may vary depending on season, demand, route reservation status, etc.
Cannot be used in conjunction with promotional coupons or other discount coupons
You can also use your mileage to purchase airline tickets for registered family members.

Excess Baggage Bonus
If the weight or number of checked baggage exceeds the fee, you can use mileage to pay the fee instead. It is a one-way basis and the mileage deduction amount varies depending on the region.
The deduction table above is based on one-way departures and arrivals from Korea.
For domestic flights, 200 miles per kg is deducted.

KAL Lounge
You can use your mileage to use lounges operated by Korean Air. Domestic lounges require 2,000 miles, and international lounges require 4,000 miles.
unaccompanied minor
You can pay for non-property pediatric services with mileage, which are services that can be used when unaccompanied by a guardian. Domestic flights are not available, only international flights are available.
For non-property pediatric services, deductible mileage is set differently for each segment rather than for each segment. For children 5 to 11 years old and younger, 15,000 mileage is required, and for children 12 and older to 16 years old, 20,000 mileage is required.
