2009.08.31. Three types of road construction equipment manufactured under previous emission standards
Forklifts or excavators manufactured to meet the emission standards pursuant to Article 79, Paragraph 1, Item 2 of the Enforcement Rules of the Clean Air Conservation Act (including cases falling under Annex Table 17, Item 4, Item B, Note 1 of the Clean Air Conservation Act Enforcement Rules)
① Diesel vehicles (including 3 types of road construction machinery) and construction machinery (forklifts or excavators) registered (referring to the place of use) in the air management area or application area for more than 6 consecutive months
② Must be judged compliant as a result of a sensory test pursuant to Article 43-2 (1) 1 of the Automobile Management Act.
③ There must be a judgment of normal operation on the ‘Confirmation of vehicles subject to early scrapping’ issued by the local government chairman or procedure agent.
④ The vehicle must not have been fitted with a emissions reduction device (DPF) or converted to a low-emission engine with the support of the government or local governments.
⑤ Applications for early scrapping of vehicles and construction machinery with a gross weight of 3.5 tons or more must be owned for at least 6 months.

① The car owner
② After reviewing the application, the association or local government issues a confirmation of payment eligibility to the vehicle owner.
③ The vehicle owner requests the local government or association to confirm the target vehicle and then receives a confirmation letter.
④ When it is determined to be in normal operation, scrap the car and submit it to the association or local government along with the subsidy payment claim and related documents.
⑤ The vehicle owner receives the subsidy by submitting a subsidy payment request to the local government.
⑥ After purchasing a new vehicle (new or used car), apply for additional subsidies and receive additional subsidies. (options)
