한전 에너지캐시백 신청방법I have a lot to worry about this summer as the weather is already getting hotter. Every summer, whenever I hear how much my electricity bill is due to the operation of the air conditioner or other cooling system, I tried to reduce electricity use as much as possible in my house. It is said that you can reduce your electricity bill and receive cashback through ‘Energy Cashback’ ahead of this summer when the heat is expected. Since June 7, you can apply for Energy Cashback through the KEPCO Energy Cashback website (https://en-ter.co.kr/ec/main/main.do), so I applied right away.
The application target is residential customers who are confirmed to live in the address they applied for, and can participate if they have used electricity for at least one year out of the previous two years. Application after application is applied from the month in which the application date falls. However, cashback for customers who applied between June 7, 2023 and August 31, 2023 will be applied from the amount used for July 23.
First, log in to the KEPCO Energy Cashback website and apply for Energy Cashback payment. Check the cashback information and resident registration address, and check the required agreements.
When you complete the application for confirmation of participation in Energy Cashback, you can check the current status on the cashback payment application screen.
If electricity usage is reduced by 10% compared to the same month of the previous year, it can be returned in cash. Basic cashback is paid 30 won per 1kWh of savings if the minimum reduction rate is 3% and the average reduction rate of participants in the same region is achieved. Differential cashback pays 30 to 70 won per 1kWh when the savings rate is 5% or more, regardless of the average savings rate. The cashback is deducted from the next month’s electricity bill, and the cashback payment standard is shown in the figure below.
As summer approaches in earnest, energy saving campaigns are being promoted to alleviate the burden of energy costs caused by electricity price hikes. The things I thought were normal were not. Fundamentally, energy that can be related to climate change and environmental problems is now used for granted and comfortably, but if electricity is cut off even for a day, it would be a disaster. It would be nice to reduce the burden of electricity bills through energy cashback this summer and practice energy conservation for the environment.
