아이폰 공동인증서 저장 How to import and save a joint certificate on iPhone

This is a review of the renewal of joint certificates for securities and individuals. Bank use seems to be the same, and renewal is possible one month before expiration.

At first, I thought that it would be simple if I just simply renew, but when I actually did it, the process is practically the same as reissuing. It is quite cumbersome as you have to import and export all the apps you use one by one, and you have to register Face ID again. 아이폰 공동인증서 저장

So, you shouldn’t do it when you’re in a hurry, but when you have a little time, it’s better to be prepared to re-register all the securities company apps and bank apps I’ve been using. I thought it was going to be over soon, but it took a little longer than I thought, of course, it just took an hour, but it’s not like that.

First of all, in the case of Kiwoom Securities, the renewal could be done simply through the app. It’s the same whether it’s Hero Moon S or Hero Moon S Global.

On the other hand, Samsung Securities did not know if I could find the corresponding menu in the mPOP application, so I just updated the Kiwoom Securities mobile application. 이베이스매뉴얼

If you do this renewal, the existing certificate will be revoked. It does not extend the validity period of the existing certification. So, it is practically no different from reissuing after disposal. If you think like this, you will get a sense of what you need to do after the update.

In other words, even if you renew, you have to manually re-register all of them one by one in the same way as for disposal. In the case of Android phones, it is possible that it is only the iPhone because it is said that applications share a common certificate.

After renewing the joint certificate, if you renew it in the mobile application, you can save it again to your PC through the Smartphone->Export PC menu.

I did it with the Kiwoom Securities app, so I will explain it based on that, update to the Kiwoom Securities app, re-register Face ID in the Kiwoom Securities app, and export the certificate to the PC from the smartphone->PC export menu again and save the certificate to the PC. give.

And I use two places: Samsung Securities and Kiwoom Securities, but you cannot export directly from the Kiwoom Securities app to the Samsung Securities app. Therefore, the certificate exported to the PC above is sent to the Samsung Securities mPOP smartphone application through the PC->Smartphone Export menu on the Samsung Securities website or HTS.

Then, you get a certificate from the Samsung Securities app and re-register, and Face ID is also re-registered.

Unlike smartphones, with a PC, you can log in by selecting the changed certificate when you log in, even if you do not have to register separately in all other programs if you do it once. So, in the case of PC, there is no need to re-register the joint certificate for each program used. It is likely that Android phones are similar. The iPhone seems to be a bit unusual.

Perhaps for security reasons, the iPhone has a strict sandbox policy, so it is a problem that occurs because data cannot be shared between applications unless it is a path specifically authorized by Apple. Apple makes a special sandbox exception for Korean joint certificates, and there is no possibility of that happening in the future.

Although it is a well-known fact that the iPhone is the best smartphone in the world, it has a surprisingly inconvenient point.

It can be said that localization of this is not well done, but in foreign countries, it will not use a joint certificate, and it will be just Face ID.

On the Apple side, why can’t you guys in Korea use Face ID or fingerprint recognition? Why are you using something like a joint certificate in the iPhone app? It’s inconvenient and inefficient, and it’s just taking money from the country.

Of course, Apple is right, because our country is also in the process of recommending mobile certificates more these days. If the banker asks you to issue an OTP, you can do it with your mobile certificate, and it is recommended these days.

However, securities companies have not yet provided a login method only as a joint certificate to run HTS on a PC, so it is likely that the securities companies will not change until the very end. The infrastructure already exists for mobile phone authentication, so you can change it right away, but then of course people will not like it because it is much slower than just entering a password for a public certificate.
