The correct name is ‘Traffic Safety Training for Transferring Private Taxi License’. The validity period of the Private Taxi Transfer Training is up to three years. You only need to transfer your private taxi business license within three years after completing the training.

How to apply for private taxi transfer training
Private taxi transfer training is conducted at the Traffic Safety Experience Education Center of the Korea Transportation Safety Authority. Applications for transfer training can only be accepted online 100%. (See the link below.)

There are only two places across the country where private taxi training is conducted: Sangju and Hwaseong. Evaluation of Private Taxi Training
After entering the center, private taxi training, which will be conducted as a collective education, will be conducted for 40 hours for 5 days with 8 hours of theoretical education (savings education), 22 hours of practical training, 8 hours of comprehensive evaluation, and 2 hours of admission and completion ceremony.
